Financial aid

MKA offers need-based financial assistance to eligible families with students in Middle and Upper School divisions, determined using Clarity, an independent third-party service. The Community Scholars Program, for grades 6-11, covers full tuition and additional costs for students demonstrating full financial need and representing a racial or ethnic minority.

Before & after school care

Before school

Although students may arrive as early as 7:30 a.m., there is no charge for early arrival.

After school

After-school care is provided through Extended Play and Enrichment (EPE) for Jr-K to Grade 5 and Extended Student Supervision (ESS) for Grades 6-8, offered until 6:00 p.m. daily. EPE includes Stay and Play, homework help, enrichment activities, and Bitty Sports. The Upper School building is regularly open until 6:00 p.m., with co-curricular activities and faculty office hours.

Cost

Pricing for Extended Play and Enrichment (EPE) varies depending on the classes selected. Extended Student Supervision (ESS) for Grades 6-8 requires sign-up by trimester, and fees vary depending on pick-up time. Enrichment programs, including EPE, ESS, and private music lessons, are not included in tuition.

Extended-care hours and rates change yearly — parents can correct these below.
