Dr. Poulos is the co-founder and principal of SciCore, inspired to bring professional excellence to the teaching of science. He graduated with a Ph.D. and M.S. in Physical Chemistry at Northwestern University and has a B.S. with distinction in Chemistry and Magna Cum Laude at Duke University.
Curriculum & special classes
SciCore Academy offers outstanding science and humanities curricula for elementary, middle, and college preparatory high school students, with a focus on project-based learning and a unique sequenced Engineering and Programming curriculum for grades 3-12. The school provides a calm, studious classroom environment with textbook-guided curricula, low screentime, and a maximum class size of 16 students.
