Christy Pettit founded First Impressions Academy in October 2008, renovating her home garage into a preschool after teaching for six years in three different states. She had a vision to create a school that encompassed all the components for successful learning and teaching.

First Impressions Academy provides a high-quality education from preschool through middle school, utilizing small class sizes and highly qualified, degreed educators. They use differentiated instruction, a structured learning environment, and an assortment of curriculum to ensure progress in each subject area, with arrays of assessments to measure daily growth.

First Impressions Academy accepts the Opportunity Scholarship & ESA+ from the NCSEAA, a program that supports qualifying students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade choosing a private education.

First Impressions Academy accepts new students for preschool through middle school. Parents are invited to fill out an application form and submit it either by dropping it off at the office or emailing it. Due to limited slots, early application is encouraged.

What they ask for: Application form (registration application), health forms (health assessment form, full day health form), teacher recommendation form.
