Refund Policy
Applies to Truition memberships ($4.99/month and $39/year). Last updated August 2026.
Cancel anytime — access runs to the end of your paid period
You can cancel your membership at any time from My membership. Cancelling stops all future renewals and charges immediately, but it does not end your access right away: you keep full access to the parent-reported cost ledger and member features until the last day of the period you already paid for.
- Monthly plan: cancel on day 10 and you still have access through the end of that monthly term. You are not charged again.
- Annual plan: cancel in month 6 and you still have access for the remaining months of the 12-month term. You are not charged again.
The 7-day free trial on the monthly plan
Monthly memberships start with a 7-day free trial. Paddle collects a payment method up front, but nothing is charged during the trial. If you cancel before day 8 you are never billed; if you keep the membership, the first $4.99 charge happens at the end of the trial and every month after that. The annual plan does not include a trial.
No automatic mid-period refunds
Because you keep the access you paid for, we do not issue automatic prorated refunds for the unused part of a month or year. Cancelling mid-period converts your plan to non-renewing rather than triggering a partial refund.
Discretionary refunds, case by case
Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Refund requests are reviewed individually and may be granted at our and Paddle's discretion — for example for an accidental duplicate charge, a renewal you did not intend, a billing error, or a membership you never used. Where a refund is approved, Paddle returns the money to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
To request one, use the receipt email from Paddle (it links to your order and a "Contact support" option), or reach out through the billing portal linked on My membership. Please include the email address on the account and the approximate charge date.
Beta period and price changes
During the beta, parent-reported data is free for signed-in users, so most people will not be charged at all. If membership pricing changes later, existing members are billed at their current rate until their next renewal and are notified before any change takes effect.
Statutory rights
Nothing here limits consumer rights you have under local law — including EU/UK withdrawal rights on recent digital purchases. Where those rights apply, they take precedence over this policy.
