Michele has been with The Children’s House since 1998, as an assistant and Primary Lead Guide until 2007, when she began her current role as Head of School. Her young adult children, Sylvie and Mack, were born and raised at The Children’s House and Compass Junior High.
Curriculum & special classes
The school offers a Montessori learning environment that supports and respects the development of each unique child, nurturing them to become independent, curious, confident, lifelong learners. The Montessori approach helps children with their task of inner construction as they grow from childhood to maturity, including academic, physical, social, emotional, and moral development.
Financial aid
The Children's House provides financial assistance for Primary, Elementary, and Junior High programs, processed through FAST from Independent School Management (ISM). A minimum schedule of 5 mornings is required for Primary students to be considered for assistance.
