Dr. Barbara Rountree is a native Alabamian who has been a certified teacher since 1969 and earned her doctorate from Vanderbilt University/Peabody College. She founded The Capitol School in 1993 with Margaret Brown Hill, aiming to create a world-class PK-12 school based on educational research.
