Curriculum & special classes
Shining Mountain Waldorf School offers a human-centered education balancing rigorous academics with hands-on arts and outdoor exploration. The curriculum aligns with natural developmental stages, uses creative expression to teach academic subjects, and introduces digital tools intentionally from Grade 7.
Financial aid
Tuition assistance is available for eligible students in grades Kindergarten-12, with applications managed through FACTS.com. Preschool and 3-day kindergarten programs are not eligible for tuition assistance.

Aftercare for children ages 2.5 through Grade 5 is available on all regularly scheduled school days. Hours are 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday, and 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Thursday. Children engage in outdoor free play and Waldorf craft activities.
