Curriculum & special classes

Portsmouth STEM Academy is a K-12 chartered nonpublic school that combines rigorous academics with hands-on learning, creativity, collaboration, and individualized support. While science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are central, the curriculum also includes language arts, social studies, fine arts, theatre, and physical education to educate the whole child.

Financial aid

Ohio school-choice scholarships make a PSA education tuition-free for eligible students.

Admissions

The admissions process involves submitting an application, providing student records, a review by school staff, an invitation for a family conversation and visit day for eligible applicants, and then an enrollment decision based on available space and the school's ability to support the student's needs.
