John Novick assumed the role of Head of School in 2021, following more than three decades working in independent schools in the greater Chicago area.

North Park Elementary School educates students in an inclusive and engaging school culture, affirming, challenging, and supporting each child to achieve their full potential as reflective learners and involved, empathetic members of their communities. The curriculum emphasizes creative critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-expression, with signature experiences like Play with Purpose in Early Childhood and place-based learning.

NPES' financial assistance program is available for applicants applying to kindergarten through eighth grade where space is available.

NPES offers admission for Early Childhood (Preschool/Jr. Kindergarten) and K-8th Grade. The process involves an application, application fee, teacher recommendation, birth certificate, and family questionnaire, along with interviews or screenings depending on the grade level. Applications are considered on a rolling basis when space allows.
