Head of School
Quentin McDowell is Mercersburg’s eighth head of school and has served on the faculty in a number of roles since 2007. He arrived at Mercersburg in 2007 as a member of the history faculty and became director of summer and extended programs in 2008.
Curriculum & special classes
Mercersburg Academy offers 150 academic courses. The school prepares students for college and for life as a global citizen, fostering independent and self-directed learners and creative and discerning thinkers.
