Emily first joined the LCWS Community in 1989 as a kindergarten student. She returned as a parent in 2015, served on the Board of Trustees, and accepted the full-time Head of School position in spring 2023.
Curriculum & special classes
The school prepares students to be creative, independent thinkers with compassion and purpose, guided by Waldorf principles. It uses a time-tested educational framework that builds bold, inventive problem solvers, with a focus on hands-on, experiential learning and observation and discovery.
