He earned a B.A. in history and theater from Bates College and an M.A. in educational leadership from Columbia University’s Teachers College.

Before & after school care
Before school
Free Before School Care is available for Key students in Kindergarten through Grade 8, weekdays beginning at 7:30 a.m. Registration is required and space is limited. Licensing parameters limit ages served to Kindergarten through Grade 4. Children must arrive between 7:30 - 7:45 a.m. and be signed in by a parent. Not available on delayed opening days.
After school
Key School's After School Program is available for students in First, Lower and Middle Schools every day school is in session (except early dismissal days) until 6:00 p.m. The base program runs from 3:15 - 5:30 p.m. Care from 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. is available for an additional fee. Students are grouped by grade level, provided a nutritious, nut-free snack, and a structured homework period. After School Enrichment programs (e.g., Robotics, Chess Club, Creative Dance) are also offered for various grade levels (1-12). Upper School students (9-12) have access to the Science and Library Center for supervised study until 7:00 p.m. (Aug-Apr) and 5:30 p.m. (May-Jun) at no additional fee.

After School Program (Key-Wee - Grade 8): 5 Days 3:15 - 5:30 p.m. costs $3,650; 5 Days 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. costs $1,580 (additional fee); 3 Days 3:15 - 5:30 p.m. costs $2,120.
