Before assuming the role of Head of School at AC, Shannon served as the Assistant Head of School and Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid. She earned a BA at Hamilton College and previously worked at The Gunnery School, Canterbury School, and Stevens Institute of Technology.
Curriculum & special classes

Before & after school care
Before school
Morning care from 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. free of charge for students in AC3-Grade 5; Middle and Upper School students may arrive as early as 7:30 a.m. and report to their divisional lounges.
After school
Afternoon care is available from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. through the Rainbow Room (AC3s-Grade 5) and AC After 3 p.m. (Pre-Kindergarten-Grade 12), plus athletics (Grades 7-12). Rainbow Room is open on most vacation days and conference days.
Cost
Before-school care is free of charge. After school care programs (Rainbow Room and AC After 3 p.m.) are optional and not included in the cost of tuition.
